Paris Couture Week Eye Candy



Haute Couture is a title given by The Fédération Française de la Couture, to syndicate members only who make made-to-measure pieces. It is where fashion dreams are made, and is typically the crossroads where fashion meets art. This ever-blurring line is evident not only in design, but also in craftsmanship. A couture look often takes hundreds of hours to execute. A show is a couturier’s chance to unveil their craft, the same way an artist displays artwork in a gallery. In truth, couturiers are artist, most are just using a different medium. Couture has been known to leave us inspired and gives us all something to reach for.

Although Spring 17 was not the strongest season as far as artistic design is concerned, designers did give enough standout pieces to feed your creative soul:
